Wilder World Integrates Personal Spaces and Gear Maintenance Systems in the Trenches
According to eGamers.io, Wilder World has consolidated its garage, apartment, and Gun & Gear Room into a single Personal Space hub inside the Trenches district.

The same update introduced persistent armor degradation, a tiered repair economy in the Armory, and Garage Version 3, which now surfaces every Wheel owned by a connected ZERO wallet. Whether "player-owned" still holds depends on where the trust boundaries actually sit — and right now, three variables gate the basic act of keeping your gear functional.
The Repair Cost Curve
The Armory returns damaged items to maximum stats and clears the worn visuals, but the cost is not flat. Three inputs drive it: cumulative damage absorbed, gear category, and rarity tier. Higher-rarity armor absorbs more punishment and costs proportionally more to repair, so the maintenance expense compounds over a fixed-supply item pool. Six rarity tiers run from Common up to WILD. Pack assets define both the starting loadout — Trinity MKI and MKII suit components across 11 gear slots — and the upgrade ceiling. Scarcity for Season One items is permanent and non-reissueable, which means long-term players absorb every repair cost against a shrinking asset base.
Wallet as the Ownership Choke Point
Garage Version 3 reads directly from the connected ZERO wallet. Items appear in-game only while the wallet holds them, and selling an item deletes it from the inventory and every preset that referenced it. Ownership enforcement sits at the wallet layer rather than the client — the architecturally correct placement for true asset control, though it also means a disconnected wallet produces an empty Garage and a blank loadout. The customizer workflow now consumes Pack attachments — scopes, silencers, barrels — for weapons and preset configurations for vehicles split across handling, speed, and control categories. The system behaves the way transfer markets strip an asset from one roster and reissue it elsewhere: clean, irreversible, dependent on the issuing authority.
Phases and a Verdict
The Super Early Access rollout is divided into three phases: Rebellion (shooter combat, gear progression, arena competition), Wilder Wheels (parts economy, upgraded vehicles, racing physics), and a 2026 free-roam phase opening Wiami with building and mining. Each phase adds a load-bearing subsystem atop the wallet-gated inventory stack. The architecture is Ethereum plus Unreal Engine 5, with ownership enforced by ZERO. On the scalability stress test: the design holds, provided the wallet-to-client sync layer does not become the throughput ceiling. Until that layer is benchmarked under load, treat the "player-owned" label as guilty until proven performant.
