The patch focuses on account linking, NFT data access, EVM compatibility, minting validation and staking accounting rather than adding a new gameplay feature, but those under-the-hood changes can still affect how players and asset holders interact with the network.

For anyone using Meta Earth’s testnet, the practical message is simple: prepare your wallet information, avoid on-chain activity while maintenance is underway, and wait for the official completion notice before returning to the gameplay loop.

The changes that matter to players

The most visible addition is support for linking ME ID accounts with their sub-account addresses. That should make account relationships easier to manage, particularly for users who separate activity across more than one address, although the announcement does not describe the exact interface or any new player-facing features.

The NFT query API is also gaining pagination. In plain English, applications will be able to handle large volumes of NFT data in smaller sets rather than trying to process everything at once.
